About Krystal (On Trial 17/10/14) ~ Gentle. Good on Lead
Krystal is a 2 year old Red cattle Dog. She loves spending time with people and would be happy to lay on the lounge all day and give cuddles. She is house trained and walks perfectly on the lead, and has even started to enjoy car rides. When she first came into their care, Krystal was wary of the other small dogs in her foster home. However, she now gets along perfectly with them. Krystal also lives with three birds and she is fine with them, she just ignores them, (however she is always supervised around them).
Krystal would be suitable in a home with children as she has never shown any aggression toward people and is extremely gentle. She is not too excitable and knows not to jump up at people. She would also make a great exercise buddy as she is perfect to walk on the lead.
Krystal would be fine as an only dog as she prefers her human companions. She would also do well in a house with other dogs as long as time is given for proper introductions. She may take a few days to get to know them and trust them but then she should be fine.
Krystal was rescued from a pound. She had been taken there after she had been hit by a car. She was physically ok but was terrified of people. Two weeks of love and care and Krystal has completely turned around and is a loving, gentle and affectionate girl, ready to begin her happy new life in her forever home.
If you are interested in meeting this beautiful girl or would like more information, please contact Jessica on 0422 713 461 or email Jessica.lee.reynolds@gmail.com. Krystal is in foster care in Thorntaon, NSW (near Maitland, west of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Krystal's adoption fee is only $400 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
