Frankie (adoption pending)

Our FRANKIE is not only one of the most handsome dogs in the country he is also a dog with a lovely nature. Everyone who meets him comments on this.

Frankie is only 10 months old and while he doesn't seem to have had any training, he's well behaved and calm for a young dog. He is starting to respond to commands and will take correction. Frankie travelled a long way to find safety at Saving Staffies and he was perfectly behaved the whole way. He's not a barker, he doesn't mind being handled, he was good in the bath on arrival at the rescue and he enjoys human company and a cuddle.

As Frankie has only recently arrived at Saving Staffies we're still getting to know him but he reportedly got along well with the other dogs in the pound, and he's also shown himself to be a dog friendly sort of guy whilst in our care.

Frankie is a strong young dog and will only be rehomed to an experienced family who are prepared to continue his training and give him the direction he needs to realise his potential as a wonderful family companion.

VOLUNTEER'S NOTE 20/09/14

Spent some time with Frankie today to take some new photos and get some am-staffy cuddles. He is such a happy, good natured pup - smiles and wags his tail non-stop. A very people focused dog who leans into you for a cuddle. Just so loving. Frankie loved his new red toy and trotted around the pen with it in his mouth and grinning, and showing it off to the little dog in the adjoining pen. Went for a short walk past the other kennels and he exchanged tail wags with lots of dogs.
