About Phoebe *On Trial in Her New Home*
*PHOEBE IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* If you want a teeny-weeny loving companion who can be a bit of a diva but who’s also a delightful cross between active and snuggly then Princess Phoebe’s the gal for you!
Recently surrendered to our local pound, through no fault of her own, Phoebe is a sweet, dainty girl who can be quite timid when meeting new people though soon warms up once she knows you’ll do her no harm. \ Due to this we wouldn’t recommend her to a home with boisterous or very young children; 12 years or over would better suit this little petal. She enjoys being outside catching some spring sunshine or playing with her foster carers young Terrier cross who’s been trying to teach her how to fetch. Phoebe is toilet-trained and well behaved inside and likes to curl up with you while you watch tv at night. She takes her role as watchdog very seriously and will let you know if anyone approaches the house or if something doesn’t feel right in Phoebe’s world.
While in care clever Phoebe has learnt to sit for treats; her faves being Schmackos and she loves to chew on pigs ears. When she’s really excited and wants your attention she’ll stand on her hind legs which is rather cute! She’s good on a lead and likes going for her daily walk. Phoebe enjoys pats and loves being picked up for a cuddle and will stay on your lap for as long as you’ll have her. She likes to be close and will follow you around as you go about your daily business.
Weighing in at a tiny 3kgs Phoebe is a terrific ‘take-anywhere’ size. She is fairly low maintenance only needing a short walk or run around the backyard to use up her energy and she does lose some hair but not a lot; the occasional brush and bath will keep this pretty girl looking her best!

Adorable Phoebe sleeps inside at night either in her crate (which she loves as it made her feel secure when she first came into foster care and was a little unsure of her surroundings) or on her carers bed if she can get away with it! She would be fine living on her own unless her humans will be away at work during the day, then she’d need a friendly, similar-sized dog for company. We’re not sure how Phoebe is with cats as she hasn’t met one since coming into care though we may be able to test this if required.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
