About Daisy ~ Jack Russell (On Trial 29/9/14)
Daisy is a beautiful, sweet natured, 9yo, Jack Russell Terrier who loves company. She is a good friend to everyone including children all ages and other dogs, big or small. She is currently living with another small dog and a cat, who she is not bothered by at all.
She loves playing with a ball and will fetch and bring it back every time. Daisy may not be a puppy but she loves to play and can outlast younger dogs. She enjoys the beach and lazing in the sun at home. She is good on the lead too! As soon as she sees the lead she will sit down in front of you waiting to go for a walk.
Daisy is a little timid when it comes to meeting new people and will bark a little until you say hello to her. She also likes to let you know if someone or another dog is walking past your yard. She has never shown any signs of aggression with children and or other animals.
Daisy is housetrained and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. She loves to come inside and keep you company and to sleep indoors with her doona.
Daisy would be happy in a home with or without children and with or without other pets. All she wants is love and cuddles and you will get that back in return with lots of licks.
So if you have room in your heart and home, Daisy is your girl.
For more information or to meet Daisy, please contact Susan on 0450 847 077 or email speedhump7375@bigpond.com. Daisy is in foster care in Swansea, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
