About Jessie (On Trial 10/10/14) ~ Red Kelpie
Jessie is the most adorable, happy, tail wagging doggy. She's a 3 year old red kelpie x. Jessie loves her walks and is good off lead. She will run around chasing her canine friends and is very obedient and will come as soon as called. She will chase a ball and demolish it before dropping it for you to throw again. She loves to retrieve a ball from the lake and loves her daily swim! She's very vocal when out on our walk and barks with happiness most of the time she's out.
Jessie loves to be wherever you are so loves to have company. She's a real snuggle bug and loves to have her tummy rubbed. She loves to play with her foster brother and two foster sisters.
Jessie is a bit of a Harriet Houdini - she can squeeze herself through pool fencing (I've seen her do it otherwise wouldn't believe it) and can almost jump my 7ft gates so will need secure fencing.
Jessie has the most loveable personality, she's not a pushy dog so I think she'd be ok with smaller children and is definitely good with older children. Don't know what she's like with cats as we don't have any. She's a fabulous, delightful and loyal companion.
To arrange to meet Jessie please contact Helen on 0481 109 880 or e-mail helenstoreyproperties@gmail.com. Jessie is in Charlestown, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Jessie's adoption fee is only $400 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
