About Harley (On Trial 27/9/14) ~ Kelpie Puppy
Meet Harley, 9 week old Kelpie puppy, cute as cute with his gorgeous black and tan markings. Harley has always been the strongest of the 4 puppies in his litter, and has a brave and adventurous little personality to match his strength. He is also a very affectionate little guy, and loves to tuck his head under your chin and snuggle in when you are giving him a cuddle.
Harley needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside, at least until he is fully grown. He'll need plenty of exercise when he grows up as well as playtime and other interaction with his family. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life.
Harley will need 6ft fences (not rural fencing such as mesh or wire). It'd be great if there was someone that doesn't work full time, such as a stay at home mum, or someone who works from home or is retired. If everyone works full time then your puppy will need another dog for company.
Harley's brother Dakota and sisters Jewell and Winnie are also available for adoption.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
