About Phoebe (On Trial 27/9/14) ~ Corgi x Mini Foxy
Phoebe is a very huggable Corgi x Mini Foxy, around 2 years old. She looks like a tiny German Shepherd. She is a quiet girl who will bring you lots of affection and smiles and make your house a home. She would like to keep you company as you go about your day and follow you around the house and yard. In the evening she'd love to join you on the lounge to watch TV.
Phoebe gets on very well with other small dogs and loves to play and wrestle with them and play with toys. She walks so well on the lead you could almost forget she is there!
She has good basic training and is ready and willing to learn new things. She is house trained. She sleeps all night in her crate in the lounge room without a peep. She is a little bit tentative around small children, but has no problems with everyday noises such as the mower, vacuum, washing machine, etc.
Phoebe is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. She would love to have another small dog for a playmate if possible.
Phoebe will give you all of her affection and loyalty for the rest of her life. All she asks in return is stability and security. She would love to be your best friend and do her bit to complete your family.
For more information or to meet Phoebe, please contact her foster carer Ellen on 0421 189 111 or email femonazi69@gmail.com. Phoebe is in foster care in Mayfield, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Phoebe's adoption fee is only $400 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
