About Jessie
Meet Jessie... the very LUCKY puppy!!
We rescued Jessie from a rural pound after she was rescued from a less than favorable living environment. On her way down to us the vehicle that she was being transported in was involved in a fatal road accident. Jessie was one of the lucky dogs that survived the crash however she was in a very bad way and we did not know if she would survive her injuries. She suffered from a severe head injury which left her with major swelling on the brain and damage to her left eye. After weeks in ICU, lots of medication and TLC, Jessie proved to be a little fighter and made a full recovery. She did have to have her damaged eye removed as it was irreparable and causing her discomfort however Jessie is getting along fantastically without it and feels much better now that she is pain free (see photos attached during her recovery period).
Jessie is an AMAZING little girl.
We believe she is a Wolfhound/Staghound cross however your guess is as good as ours! She looks like she will grow to be a medium size adult dog but you are best to be prepared for a medium or large sized adult as we can not guarantee how large she will get.
Jessie gets along really well with every dog, cat and child she meets! She is a ball of energy and loves being around anyone or anything that will play with her and keep her company.
Like all puppies... Jessie will need ongoing obedience training which will include puppy school and then ongoing adult obedience classes to ensure she becomes a well mannered adult pooch. She is a very quick learner so will take well to obedience training. She is nearly completely toilet trained indoors but she will require some patience and further instruction by her new owners to help her get it all down pat in the new home.
She loves her daily walks and will need to go to a new home where she will be exercised daily to keep her mentally and physically stimulated throughout the day. Having another friendly pooch to spend her days with would also be ideal for this beautiful girl.
Jessie LOVES sleeping indoors and being a part of the family.
Jessie should not have any ongoing medical problems due to her accident and our vets are happy that she is now 100% healthy and ready for re-homing.
Can you give this beautiful girl the loving home she truly deserves?
Jessie comes desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
