About Puppy Teemu (On trial 3/10/14)
This beautiful little puppy is Teemu, an 8 week old, Chihuahua x. He is only tiny and will only grow to the size of a small breed dog. He is very inquisitive and likes to play with his brother Mackie and sister as well as the 3 other dogs and 2 cats he is currently living with at his foster carer's house.
Teemu is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside, even when fully grown. Dogs and puppies enjoy being part of the family.
Teemu is just starting with toilet training and like any puppy, he would benefit from puppy training classes. Teemu's brother Mackie is also available for adoption http://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/318677

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
