About "Diesel" Purrfect Match
Located at Taree, Diesel "Vin" for short is a big hunka of a boy who was found abandoned on a property. He is shy at first but once he gets his confidence he is a gorgeous smoochy head butting buffa.
He's got the most awesome chubba cheeks and deep tabby and white colouring with bold tabby stripes and a fluffy tail.
If you like big cats he is possibly the biggest we have in care.
He's awesome and solid built and I reckon in the right home he would be a lap cat too (though you'd need a strong lap :-).
Diesel is not particularly suitable for children or seniors due to the fact that he was rough played with as a kitten and he still thinks he is a kitten but with a power punch.
Suitable for a person/s who is cat experienced and can read his body language as to how far the affection goes as if he is over stimulated he can show his love in ways we don't appreciate. Ie his love bites are ouchy !!
He has a wonderful personality other wise and doesn't like adult cats at all. May be ok with a younger female cat.
Wary of dogs but should be ok in the right environment and introduction
Adoption details
Trial periods are given to ensure the cat/kitten is the Purrfect Match for your situation and refund is available within the agreed trial period that is geared to suit the individual cat.
If a cat is being adopted sight unseen, as in distance adoptions, we do require a home check to ensure our cats safety.
After indicating your interest in a cat or kitten you wish to adopt we put you in contact with his or her foster carer. You can then organize a meet and greet.
If you decide to go ahead with the adoption you are required to complete the adoption form and transfer of microchip paperwork. The foster carer will have these documents for you to complete or they can be sent to you via email. Payment can be made via direct deposit or cash to the carer.
We have transport opportunities available from time to time.
Cats are sold desexed, first vaccination and micro-chipped. They will be up to date on their worming and flea treatment.
PLEASE NOTE: Unless other wise stated as in the case of BARN/FARM cats.. ALL our cats are for INDOOR HOMES ONLY or specially built cat enclosures.. We rescued them off the street and would think nothing worse that they be placed back there and in danger of all the perils of modern day society. Please respect our wishes with these requirements. We care about our cats and matching the cat to the adopter is important as is the home they are going to.
All ages of cats are an estimate only as per microchip paperwork supplied by council.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
