About Zac
Zac is a delightful little dog with personality plus. He is bigger then a Jack Russel, very much the beagle size. He has lots of energy, is very sweet natured and has the brains of the Jack Russel. He desires to please, and like a typical Jack Russell is easy to train and learns quickly.
Zac loves other dogs and loves to play. He is a bit larger then our average chihuahua rescue dog, but he was just miserable in the pound and we couldn't leave him behind. Zac MUST be adopted to a family with another dog, as he gets bored if he is on his own.
Zac loves to play with other dogs, although he can be a tiny bit shy at first. He is good with little dogs as well as cats, and has been fostered with a Labrador and a German Shepherd x.
He would be best suited to a home that was committed to providing him with an active lifestyle, and if possible a doggy playmate. He is still a puppy and has so much potential to be an amazing family dog. His nature is so sweet and loving, and would be a wonderful dog for an indoor/outdoor home where he can be part of the family! The more room the better as Zac LOVES to run!

Medical notes
Zac is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. He has been tested for heartworm and his result was negative. Whilst in our care he has been fed a high quality premium diet and treated regular with flea, worm and heartworm prevention.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please email chihuahuarescueqld@gmail.com for an Adoption Application. From there, we will be in contact with you within 48 hours to talk further about your application and if successful, to arrange a meet and greet.
Prior to adoption, all dogs will need to have a meet and greet with their family, and a house check will be done. All adoptions are subject to a two week trial to ensure your new friend fits in well with your household.
We have many dogs that are in foster care and are not yet ready to be listed for a variety of reasons. If you have a good idea of what you are looking for in your new dog please email us at chihuahuarescueqld@gmail.com and let us help you match a dog to your needs.
