About Bundy (On Trial 5/10/14) ~ border collie x
Meet the lovable Bundy! He is a medium sized (24kg), 4 year old Border Collie x English Staffy. He has spent most of his life around children, cats, horses, cattle and chickens. He is great with other dogs too.
I'm giving Bundy some basic training. He knows his name and I'm teaching him sit, stay and wait for food. He is very clever and has learned how to push doors and gates open so his new family will need to make sure their gates and doors are secure.
Bundy has an easy care coat. He has a medium length border collie textured coat which requires a quick brush and a bath every now and then. No trips to the groomer required .
Bundy is in a foster home with 2 other dogs (one toy size and one large), a cat and some caged outdoor birds and he loves their company. He sleeps outside with his big shepherd friend. He came from a farm environment so he is used to being outdoors with other animals but I'm sure he would love to come inside of an evening for quality time with his people.
Bundy has been a delightful guest here at my home and I would love to see him find a loving permanent home of his own. He would make an excellent family dog, he's great with other pets, with children of all ages and his energy level is very manageable. Ideally he would love to have a dog friend around the same size.
For more information or to meet Bundy, please contact his foster carer Cathy by sending an email to catpm91@outlook.com. Bundy is in foster care in Singleton, NSW (west of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Bundy's adoption fee is only $400 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
