About Louie (On Trial 18/10/14) ~ Pomeranian cross
Hi my name is Louie. I'm a male, Pomeranian cross. I'm only 7 months old so I'm still very much a puppy. I'm bouncy and very playful and the biggest sweetheart going. I enjoy playing with a ball and plush toys.
I have a lovely soft coat which needs brushing a couple of times a week, which I love!
I am an inside dog and need to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. I need a coat to keep me warm in the colder months.
I love attention and I will bark to get the attention from you. I'll also let you know when there are people near the house. I can sit when asked and my foster mum is teaching me some new commands. I would love for you to take me to dog training classes as I am only young and have so much to learn.
I am used to living with other small dogs and love running around and playing with them. I've lived with a cat and leave him alone. Won't you come meet me and see if you would like to be my best friend forever?
---------
Louie would be suited to a house without small children as he can jump when he is excited. He would love to go to a family with another small dog for a playmate or he can be adopted to a active person who is home part time or most of the time who is able to spend time with him.
For more information or to meet Louie, please contact Donna on 0466 099 426 or email trudgetty@hotmail.com. Louie is in foster care in Glendale, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle).
Louie's adoption fee is only $450 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
