About Chilli ~ Moodle (On Trial 15/9/14)
Hi. my name is “CHILLI” and I'm a male, 6 year old, Maltese x Poodle ("Moodle"). My foster mum says I am the perfect little gentleman. I sit for my food, I use the doggy door to get outside to do my business, I am perfect on the lead when we go for our daily walks, and I am wonderful in the car.
I am in care with 3 other dogs and I love to play with all of them. We have lots of fun playing tug, chasing balls, and chasing each other. I love all humans and am just happy to be near you whatever you are doing. I am an inside dog. and need to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. I sleep in my bed in my foster mum's room and love my bed and my sleep.
I have a coat that does not shed so am better for a family with allergies. My coat does need brushing weekly, bathing every 3 weeks, and clipping about every 6 weeks to keep me looking beautiful.
I have not met a cat as yet so I'm not sure how I would be around them, but I am a very easy going placid boy so would probably be ok. I am not available to go to a home that I would have to go on a plane as I have a fear of being in a cage ( that’s what happened when I was locked in one for a while before coming into foster care). But I'm fine to travel in a car.
My best home would be with someone who is home most of the time and happy to have a little companion to love. I am happy to share my love with other doggies as well if you already have one.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
