Duke

Duke is a 14 mth old male desexed Great Dane. Duke loves people and soaks up
attention like a sponge. He is extremely tactile! He would make an ideal
inside / outside dog where I feel he would thrive. Not sure if house trained
though. He would also require secure high fencing after demonstrating his
ability to jump / scramble / climb out of my dog run. He walks extremely well
on a lead considering his back ground but would benefit from more consistent
obedience work. Can get excited when seeing other animals which can take some
managing due to his size. Once again obedience training would help re that.
May have a tendency to chase and jump on things eg cats, chooks and sheep (
poor Hamilton )!! Haven't had him near cats tho. Duke LOVES riding in cars
and going down the street where he laps up peoples attention and pat's. Duke
will require a premium diet specific to large breed dog's.
