Gracie

Gracie is an 11 month old female Kelpie. She is a lovely, sweet and cuddly dog.
Her training is coming along beautifully. She will sit, stay and come on command and is very eager to please.
She knows to sit and wait for her food until she gets the "ok" to eat.
She is excellent on lead and off lead and her recall is fantastic.

She is great with all other dogs and humans of all ages. She is also great with chickens and cats.
She loves to run and play with other dogs and is often taken to the off-lead dog park where she has great fun.
She also enjoys her downtime and loves to sit on your lap for cuddles.

Because Gracie is still a puppy (and a kelpie puppy at that), she needs lots and lots of exercise to stop her getting bored.
A good walk or a run a day and lots of human interaction will keep this under control until she gets out of her puppy stage. She is improving as she matures.

She loves to get wet and often jumps into the creek for a swim. She also loves to be patted and brushed as it gives her time to bond with her human.

She loves attention and follows her foster carer around when outside gardening etc.
She is great indoors and is used to using a doggy door to go outside for her toileting. \
She is also good sleeping outdoors in a nice warm kennel. Once she goes to bed she stays quietly in her kennel for the night.

Gracie is a lovely dog who is a quick learner and aims to please. With ongoing training she will be an amazing dog.
She would do well in a household with or without other pets but if she has no other pets around we would highly recommend plenty of human time.
She is currently in foster care with 3 other dogs and gets along famously with them all.
Gracie has been very well loved and is only looking for a new home, due to her previous owner becoming very ill. She needs a family to love, as she has been her entire life.
