About Buddha (On Trial 21/9/14) ~ kelpie x Staffy
Excuse me! Hi over here!! I'm Buddha and I would be very pleased to meet you! I'm a 6 month old staffy x kelpie puppy. I'm also a super hero - I have a star on my chest to prove it! Unfortunately my super powers haven't helped me find my furever home, that's where you come in. How could you not love this face, no really look deep into my eyes.
I'm a really good boy. Well I try really hard but I am still a puppy. I live with my two staffy foster sisters and a cat and I love all of them. I especially love people and I really really love men, men with tools! They are fascinating to me. My foster mum had builders here and I watched them all day, quiet as a mouse. I haven't been around kids before but I'm sure I would love them too. They might just have to be careful cause I can be a bit of a boof head sometimes.
I'm pretty clever, I know how to sit, wait to be told it's ok to eat, I can shake with both paws and drop, I'm learning to high five too. I walk really well on a lead and love exploring. I come back when I'm called most of the time but I never go far or run away.
I love to play with toys and to wrestle with my foster sisters but my favourite thing is to snuggle with my humans. I usually sleep inside but I don't mind being outside when no one is home. I'd really love a family who can spend time with me. I'm good with other dogs and cats.
My foster mum thinks I'm going to be awesome when I'm all grown up and with my forever family. Could that be you? Please contact my foster mum if you think you could love me on 0417432864. I'm in Lake Macquarie (near Newcastle) - come get me!
Sloppy kisses Buddha x

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
