About Salt
Unlike her name, Salt is the sweetest girl. Having spent her early years as a breeding dog, she is very shy but always greets you with a smile and wagging tail.
She is a chunky little girl who loves her food and will sit for a treat any time anywhere. She is housetrained and uses the doggy door. She loves to curl up on the couch and is happiest at night when sleeping on your bed.
Salt is good with other dogs and is happy to share a bed or couch with her foster siblings. She would need a doggy companion for company.
Salt will need a person with lots of time and patience to help her settle in to her new surroundings. She takes time to learn to trust and will startle at loud noises and fast movements. As such she is not suitable with children.
She would like to live with someone who is home a lot of the time to give her lots of attention and love. She will need to be taught to walk on lead but keep in mind that she may never be confident enough to take on walks but that doesn't seem to bother her. She just needs someone who will not expect the world from her and let her enjoy life in her own way and in return you will be greeted with tail wags which that melt your heart.
