About Daisy (On Trial 6/12/14)~ purebred American Staffy
Daisy is a 2yo, pure bred American Staffordshire Terrier. She is Delightful with a capital D! Looks can be Deceiving but Don't judge a book by its cover, Daisy is the most gentle and loyal dog with an intense desire to please. Daisy has the most gorgeous blue markings- fondly referred to by my nephew as "day day moo cow!" She just adores the love and attention of anyone including children, men and strangers. She is very frightened of our vacuum cleaner yet doesn't bat an eyelid when our chainsaw starts!
She will make the perfect family pet as an only dog. Not suitable to children under 10 as she may knock them over. Needs someone who is comfortable around large dogs.
She aims to please- in a very short space of time she has learnt to sit, shake, stay, drop, and roll over. Her lead manners are improving daily. She is very intelligent and thrives on new challenges and enjoys the stimulation. She travels beautifully in the car and enjoys family outings. She likes to play with the water from the hose. Daisy needs secure colourbond fencing, no rural wire fencing.
Daisy is very low maintenance. She does not bark (an occasional let me in bark) or dig. She does all her doggy business in one spot away from the house. She is a joy to have around, the perfect mix of lounge lizard most of the day and energizer bunny in the afternoon when she enjoys chasing toys or playing tug of war.
Daisy had a troubled past but she is so resilient and forgiving.
Daisy takes puppy eyes to an entirely new level and will have you wrapped around her paw in no time at all.
Daisy's ideal home would have someone to keep her company for some of the day. Although she currently sleeps outside she would love nothing more than to sleep inside, snuggle with you while you watch TV, and spend some time inside feeling part of the family. She needs a yard to run in and someone to give her the love and loyalty she deserves. She will give all your love back to you tenfold.
Daisy is in foster care in North Lambton and she cannot wait to melt your heart as she has done with her foster family. Please contact Maree on 0425 292 746 or maree@ricwoods.com for further information.
Daisy's adoption fee is only $350 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
