About Baz (On Trial 5/9/15)~ Border Collie X Cattle Dog
Baz is a playful and energetic, 5 month old, Border Collie X blue Australian Cattle Dog puppy. He loves to romp with a doggie pal, play fetch or other fun games with the kids or grandkids and then snuggle up next to you on the lounge or on his own bed for snooze-time.
He is very easy to walk on his lead \ and loves to sniff his way around the neighbourhood or park and only gets excited when another dog or human comes near and then he only wants to play.
Baz has a healthy appetite and eats everything offered from dry and wet dog food to raw chicken wings and beefy bones which keep him occupied for quite a while.
Baz is used to being allowed inside when people are home and included in family activities. He is toilet trained and only has an accident if he has no access to the back yard.
Baz needs a person, couple or family who are active and will take him for walks or runs every day. On the weekends he would love to accompany you to the beach or dog park or even a running track. He would love to have some children or another dog of similar size to play with. Baz will be happy with a family, single or couple, who will treat him like a member of their family.
For more information or to meet Baz please phone foster carer Michelle 0431-548-163. Baz is in foster care in Adamstown Heights, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Baz's adoption fee is $400 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping and Lifetime Registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
