About Cujo *On Trial in His New Home*
*CUJO IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* \ Cujo by name though definitely not by nature, in fact he’s the complete opposite of the dog turned killer in the Stephen King horror-flick of the same name! \ Our Cujo will melt your heart with his soft personality – he’s a lover not a fighter and he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body :)
Recently surrendered to us, due to a change in his owners circumstances, this beautiful pup’s name was already Cujo, so we decided not to change it and confuse him further. This sweet boy can be a bit shy when meeting new people though he soon warms up and becomes a friendly, gentle-natured pup who isn’t at all in your face or yappy: in fact his carer is yet to hear him bark. Cujo is a loving pup who adores snuggling up with you and will climb into your lap for a cuddle given half a chance. He’s good around his carers’ 3 school aged children and is polite when it comes to the household cats.
Adorable Cujo LOVES food and isn’t fussy so this is helping him with learning the basics such as “sit” and “down” and he’s shown no signs of food aggression when eating around other dogs in fact he gets along well with dogs of all shapes and sizes taking on a more submissive role when they play. He’s a little unsure of doggie toys especially the squeaky ones so the dogs he’s in care with have been showing him what they’re all about. \ Cujo will need some practice on a lead in his forever home as he hasn’t spent much time on one, though being a bright boy we’re sure he’ll get the hang of it.
Enjoy some video of Cujo: http://youtu.be/VKYr_CJ-VoU
And some of him playing: http://youtu.be/4FJYJco83ZU
As Cujo is housetrained and sleeps inside at night he would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on his own but only if he won’t be left alone for long periods of time as he’s used to having company, so a retiree or stay-at-home mum or even someone who works from home would be perfect. \ Being a young pup he will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so he grows up to have lovely manners. Daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on and lots of love will make Cujo very happy indeed!!
If you’ve got the loving home we’re after for sweet Cujo then please download and complete a SARG Dog Application form by following this link: http://www.sarg.net.au/adopt-a-pet.html

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
