Meet the handsome Jack!!

This sweetheart is looking for a new family to call his own.

Jack was surrendered to SCAR after his previous owner could no longer look after him (through no fault of his own). Jack was severely overweight when he came into our care but over a few months his dedicated foster family have turned Jack into the supermodel he always was with a low calorie diet and lots of exercise!

Jack is an energetic, loveable Brittany Spaniel who turns two in November this year. He still has many puppy traits and will benefit greatly with some obedience training from his new leader.

Brittany Spaniels are a medium sized breed and known for their high energy levels, in-built drive to hunt (they're a bird dog), affection and independence. Jack is no exception! He LOVES (and needs) exercise every day and will repay the favour with tons of smooches the rest of the time.

He is as happy on the couch napping with his family as he is running through the bush flushing out birds.

Jack needs a fur-ever home that can give him the exercise, training and love that he needs to thrive.

He is fine with other dogs and would do well in a two dog home. He would be best rehomed without cats or smaller pets.
