About Andre
Don’t like cats. That’s fine you’ll love me, because I’m more than just a cat. I am Andre and I am a big mature softie. Very big! I’m outgoing and confident but like most males I also have a sensitive side. I’m extremely gentle and affectionate, and like nothing better than to lounge on your lap with my paw around your waist.
I have a favourite blankie and chair for napping during the day, but once it’s bedtime I’ll trot in and settle down next to you for the night. I’m a fabulous purrer until I nod off… I’m not overly energetic, although I’m great walking on a lead and harness, and I’ll have a casual play with my dangly mouse toy for a while until it’s time for another nap.
From time to time I have been known to run amok in the night if I’m feeling a bit frisky! If by chance you forget I’m there I’ll nudge your feet or elbow with my nose and remind you! I love all types of humans, big and small. My last bestie was a lovely little 10 year old girl.
As I tend to be bossy with other cats and smaller dogs, I’d do well as an only cat with my humans. I get a bit lonely when my foster carer is at work all day, and would love to find a home where my humans are around a bit more.
Even non-cat people fall for me as I’m just not your ‘usual’ cat. They like me because I’m more like a dog. If you say no, guess what I’ll usually stop!! Now that’s not cat-like. As you can see from my photos I’m absolutely gorgeous and a real catch!
Okay, okay, I’ll be honest. I have an old injury to the side of my face and yes there’s a story there. But I’m not telling it. And this does make it look like I’m smiling. But isn’t that good? Smiling is good.
I’m here waiting for you.

Have you ever considered foster care?
Medical notes
Andre appears to have an old injury on the left side of his face.
This has no impact on Andre at all and he is otherwise a happy, healthy boy.
