About Teenie
Teenie is a tiny little Chihuahua x Maltese who has been on quite a journey. This little darling was found in a paddock in NSW, and taken into care by a lovely family. They searched high and low for her owners, however none have come forward. After weeks of searching, they contacted us and we were delighted to arrange transport for this special girl to travel to Qld. She has now had her veterinary work done, and is looking for a new home.
Teenie is one in a million! She is only 2kg, and is a little ball of sunshine. She is happy, friendly and loves a cuddle. She is quite obedient but will benefit from ongoing training as she really is still a pup. Teenie is brilliant with children, she loves to lick their little faces and will make a beautiful family dog.
Teenie is social with other dogs and cats, although she thinks it is wonderful fun to join in with her foster carers dogs chasing the cats! Don't worry, the cats chase the dogs back!

Medical notes
Teenie has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for heartworm (result = negative), had her teeth given a quick scale and polish (they were just a tad yellow!) and started on parasite prevention.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please email chihuahuarescueqld@gmail.com for an Adoption Application. From there, we will be in contact with you within 48 hours to talk further about your application and if successful, to arrange a meet and greet.
Prior to adoption, all dogs will need to have a meet and greet with their family, and a house check will be done. All adoptions are subject to a two week trial to ensure your new friend fits in well with your household.
We have many dogs that are in foster care and are not yet ready to be listed for a variety of reasons. If you have a good idea of what you are looking for in your new dog please email us at chihuahuarescueqld@gmail.com and let us help you match a dog to your needs.
