About Paris and Maddi (On Trial 11/10~ pair of shih tzus
Pair of teeny tiny Shih Tzus: Paris (white, 2 years old) and Maddi (black & grey, 3 years old). They are the sweetest sisters you will ever meet. At a tiny 3 and 4kg the girls look like excited little puppies, adding to their beautiful playful, puppy nature. The girls would be the perfect pets for any family or home willing to show them the love and compassion they need. They are the most gentle, kind and snuggly little princesses you will ever meet and they will never fail to make you smile. They love nothing more than snuggling up to people of all ages and are especially fond of kisses and cuddles from the kids.
We are desperately hoping to find the girls a loving home together as they are inseparable and love each other very much. The two of them put on quite a show together. Paris will often sit straight on top of Maddi if the spotlight is not on her. Maddi will flop in to a sleeping position immediately, the second her bottom hits the lounge or your lap. Her typical Shih Tzu strut will also never fail to entertain. They are more than content to spend the day snuggling up to each other or playing in the backyard, so are good for people who work.
The girls get a bit nervous when meeting other dogs so they need to go to a hime with no other dogs. They are ok with some cats but will need to be introduced. They love their walks so it is essential they go to someone who will be happy to take them for a daily walk.
There are no issues with their behaviour or aspects of development that would negatively affect your household and they adapt extremely quickly. Paris and Maddi are both completely toilet trained and will let you know when they need to go outside. Regular toilet trips will ensure there aren't any accidents in the house. They do not bark or show any aggression whatsoever to the other animals, family members or children. Our other dogs jump all over them and our toddler carries them around like dolls.
Paris and Maddi are used to sleeping in their own beds in our bedrooms. They must sleep inside but if want them to sleep in a different room of the house than Maddi may take some time to adjust. While Paris is quite content to walk straight over to her bed and have a snooze.
The girls will need to go to a house with a very secure yard as they are extremely good escape artists and work very well as a team in sneaking their little bodies under fences and gates.
While Paris and Maddi would be suited to a house where they can spend a lot of time with you and be primarily inside dogs, they are also happy to run around the backyard and have a play if you are not home. They light up when they get to go out the back for a play or for a walk on the lead. Maddi will need a little bit of training on the lead as she isn’t quite used to it yet.
As long as they are following you around the house, having a seat next to you on the lounge or lap, or enjoying the backyard, the girls couldn’t be happier. They are very well trained, cuddly little ladies with brilliant temperaments.
If your heart is big enough for two and you are looking for the perfect family pet or quiet companion than these girls are for you.
