About Louie on trial in his new home
Louie is on trial in his new home.
Meet Louie the Leonberger blend who at 14 months of age still has alot more growing to do. Louie is a loving natured male dog who was surrendered by his former owner as he outgrew the family home.
This beautiful breed grows to a 40 kilo plus dog and with their stunning good looks and size they are a magnificent dog but need a confident owner who understands the nature of the breed.
Louie is loving and attentive and being only 14 months old and weighin at 35 kilos already he will be a big boy when fully grown. Louie is not a pure bred Leonberger he is mixed with a German Shepherd so you will have an intelligent, people focused dog who will need a daily walk and stimulation to ensure he remains a happy dog. Louie will never have the stand up ears but will have the stunning black and gold coat which is described as a glamour or long coat.
Louie would be best suited to a family who have older children only due to his size. He has not been tested with pocket pets, cats or small dogs. But we feel with a confident owner and plenty of exercise this beautiful boy will settle into a home with a fur friend as a companion or just the company of his human pack.
For more information on Louie please contact Linda.
Medical notes
Louie is desexed, microchipped, has been C5 vacinated and tested negative for heart worm. He has also been wormed and flea treated and will be professionally groomed prior to going to his new home.
