Indi (C2358) *Adopted*

Indi is a sailor cat who has lived an exotic life of travel. In her yachting years, she has caught fish with her claws and been the on-board entertainment. It is with great reluctance that her owner is surrendering her.

Her owner says “She’s loved going walkies with me when we’ve been in marinas....so cute...I just say ‘walkies...come on then’ and slap my hip and she’s right there by my side...she does get sidetracked with the odd boat she finds fascinating...but a clear Indi called and she comes running back.

“I got her from SAFE back in August 2006, when I was sailing my boat through on my round Oz adventure. We had a year in Darwin, a year in Cairns, 2 years in Airlie Beach, a year in Mackay and 2 years on the Gold Coast. We’ve had some onshore time in houses in between. This last year we’ve been in Perth in an apartment. She’s found it rather boring. I come home from work and just say ‘It’s snuggle time’ and she runs to our special mat and stretches out welcoming the tummy rubs and tickles. \ Of an evening she snuggles by my side on the couch for a bit. During the day she’s often found under the doona on my bed.

“She’s a very quiet kitty, she just speaks a little if she’s telling you about her day or wants something. She is fearful of people at first, but left to her own devices she becomes the inquisitive puss and will check things out in her own time. She loves attention and affection and does like men...what a mooch!”

Indi is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and toilet trained.

Live far away? Indi can fly as well as sail! Qantas Air Freight sponsors SAFE very generously, so flying her is incredibly cheap, quick and very simple. We regularly fly animals around WA and interstate.
