Sophie

Meet Sophie the sweet staffy.

Sophie is a typical staffy that just wants to love you and be loved by you! She loves to follow you around and will cuddle you constantly if you let he. She never wants to be far from you and loves to snuggle up and gives loads of kisses.

She gets along well with her foster dog really well but she can be a little bit stand offish when she meet some new dogs in the park and tends to bark and sometimes growl at them, slow and careful introduction may be needed when meeting new dogs and then she is normally quick to become new friends.
Sophie would be best rehomed without cats or small pocket pets. Sophie is good with older children but can be a little too excited around young children.

Sophie would suit a home where someone was home a lot during the day to keep her company or one where she could go to work with her owner! She just loves the company!

Sophie only has basic training so ongoing obedience training will be essential in a group environment to ensure that Sophie gets the socialisation she needs and learns some more doggie manners.

This beautiful girl LOVES going on her daily walk and could walk for days! She loves exploring new areas and following her nose on new paths.

Like all staffys, Sophie is a scavenger for food so it has to be kept out of her reach. She is currently eating her meals via an anti scoff bowl (which you can purchase at any good pet warehouse) and this is making the world of difference in teaching her how to eat slowly.

She is 95% toilet trained indoors and is a very fast learner, she had no toilet training when we got her and she is nearly there but may still have a few accidents in her new home until she new where she is expected to go. A little training and some patience and she will pick it up in no time!

We are looking for a home for Sophie that will treat her like part of the family, ensure that she is taken to obedience training and that will exercise her daily to keep her mentally and physically stimulated.
