About Jess
Meet Jess, or as she is fondly referred to as Mama.
This sweet little girl has had a tough run of late. She was left in the overnight cages at the local pound. After a few days of being there it was discovered by pound staff she was pregnant as they came in one morning to discover she'd already given birth to her pups.
Naturally we raced around to get her out ASAP and have her somewhere safe for her and the pups to relax.
She raised her 3 healthy and happy pups, but she is now ready to find her own forever family.
At approximately 5 1/2 years old, Mama is very settled within herself and just wants to have a family to call her own. She gets on well with all dogs, but does prefer to wrestle with the bigger ones. She is absolutely amazing around children and would love to be apart of a family with them to give her lots of cuddles.
Unfortunately Mama has a natural enemy in cats though, so we would have to steer away from them at this point.
Mama is surprisingly good on the lead and is normally more interested in strolling around smelling than pulling. And she's also good off leash.
True to the staffy form, she is an extremely loyal girl and a very people focused dog. She LOVES her people! Anybody who loves staffys would just fall in love with this little lady. It is now her turn to be adopted into a loving home.
Wally's like all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they feel part of the family. This is particularly so if they are to be an only dog.
Mama Jess is located on the Central Coast of NSW where she lives with her foster family.

If enquiring about Mama Jess, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog/pup may be suitable for you. Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
