About Lacie
Lacie, our petite princess,
Lacie is a very sociable with both other dog's and human's,
She has taken the role as "leader" of our pack in her stride,
She is fully toilet trained, and will demand to go out if she is
inside if she needs to "go"
Lacie will sit patiently and wait for a treat, and she takes her
treat very gently, she also sits and waits for her food,
She can be possessive with raw bones, but she is slowly
getting better with this, she will give up her bone for her
human, but not another dog, she mainly eats well and eats
most things she is presented with, but has a tenancy to be
fussy sometimes, she likes to eat bones and raw meats,
Lacie is very human orientated, she is very affectionate and
loves attention, she is very smoochy and would thrive if she
was to become an only dog, but on the other hand she fits in
well with other dogs and loves their company, either situation
would suit her perfectly, she is good with children, small dogs
and she is good with cat's,
At times she can be very vocal, especially if something is bothering
her, she interacts with other dog's while on her walks with no fuss
and gets very very excited when she knows its "walk time"
She is very laid back and very lovable, and she loves meeting new
people,
She is very good in the car and travel's well, no "car sickness"
and she is very good at the vet's, she is exceptional at taking any
medication, she will take it straight and not spit it out, with tablets
she is truly amazing!!
If she was to become an only pet, I would advise she be not left
alone. She travels well in the car and thrives being with her human
at all times, she is at her best when she feel's loved, she craves
attention but gives you so much in return for it.
Overall, the human whom is lucky enough to share their life with
this young lady will be rewarded ten fold, for what she has
endured earlier in her life she has certainly overcome any "negative's"
and only has room in her life to be loved and to love, she is a very
loyal and loving Husky, our lives have been enriched by having her with us.
PLEASE READ
A Siberian Husky is not the breed for everyone and before deciding to welcome one into your family, there are a few points to be made aware of. Being an energetic breed, they do tend to leave a trail of destruction behind them if not kept amused.
When not in an enclosed area, the Siberian should never be let off the lead. This breed loves to run and once off the lead, they're off!
They require a secure backyard to keep them from escaping .... If you cannot provide a secure backyard then a Siberian Husky is not for you.
Siberian Huskies are an independent breed and they'll do something if its in their best interest, not just because you ask them to.
Please do your research on this breeds unique requirements before applying to adopt to ensure you are up to the challenge of owning a Siberian Husky.
Lacie will require at least 6ft fencing with secure fence lines to keep her safe. As with all Siberian Huskies they are extremely good escape artists and require a safe secure backyard..
