About Tilly (On Trial 28/9/14)
Tilly is an approximately 12 month old Chihuahua x. She is a little sweetheart looking for a special home. She also goes by the names of Little T and T dog.
The home Tilly is looking for would be a quiet one with no young children as they are just too much for her. Tilly is very timid when meeting new people so her potential new family may be required to visit her a few times before she is comfortable to leave with them. Once she is used to the regular people in her life she is fine.
She would love another canine friend as her companion; this also helps build her confidence. She is also fine with cats. Tilly is currently an inside dog with access to the yard via a dog door. She would need to continue to be an inside dog in her new home.
She is still not 100% on her toilet training but is almost there. She loves going on walks and cuddling up on your lap or not far from you. Where ever you are Tilly will be far away. Once she is out of her shell she truly is a happy little dog that will love you forever.
To arrange to meet Tilly please contact Mel 0432288773 – me11ne@hotmail.com– She is currently being fostered in Edgeworth.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
