About Meeko (On Trial 31/8/14)
Meet Meeko - Young, blonde, male, medium build. Looking to make your family complete and make your house a home. Meeko, is 2yo Chug (Long haired Chihuahua x Pug) who still has all the energy and enthusiasm of a puppy, but the maturity of being that little bit older.
He loves to run around and play ball, and will chew any squeaky toy you're willing to offer, but will happily sit at your feet while you read on the lounge or on your lap while you watch the telly. He'll lie nearby and keep you company while you do the dishes or cook dinner, but he's savvy enough to not get under your feet.
He is very sociable with other dogs, and has been brilliant with his foster carer’s 2yo nephew and 6yo niece.
He wears his harness with pride as he struts beside you on a walk, or sits in the back seat of the car to keep you company on your drive.
He is crate trained and house trained, willing to learn and eager to please.
For more information please contact foster carer Ellen by calling 0421 189 111 or by emailing femonazi69@gmail.com. Meeko is currently in care in the Newcastle area.
Meeko’s adoption fee is $450 includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
