About Celtic
Hi, my name is Celtic and I am a lovely red boy of 10 years young. I am a very chilled and relaxed soul and friendly to all the humans I meet. Little is known about my background as I was a rescue dog before being adopted by my present owner 18 months ago.
My owner loves me a lot and says I am a beautiful dog but due to an awful set of circumstances he is unable to care for me any longer and has been forced to give me up which he hates the thought of. However he knows Stafford Rescue will take great care of me and find me a brand new forever home with a loving family who have room in their hearts for one more fur baby who just wants to belong.
I haven’t been socialised much with other animals in my present situation but have had carers when my dad was away and was with other dogs then with no problems at all. However I will be tested out when I arrive. I love travelling in the car and am really excited to see visitors when they come but soon settle down and generally just want to get as close to you as I can get. No-one ever told us Staffords that we weren’t lap dogs and its a really comfortable spot and the best place to be to get a good scratch.
I am currently in South Australia so if you live there you are welcome to apply. Stafford Rescue may not know my past but they do know staffies and know that our single layered coats don't cope with cold too well and because I am older I need to be inside even more. So if you can offer me a home inside with the family in a nice warm bed then SRV would love to hear from you.
Adoption details
If you think you can offer me a forever home please go to
http://www.staffordrescuevictoria.org.au/index.php/adoption-forms-6
and fill out the Adoption Request Form. You will receive an email acknowledgement within 3 days. If you do not receive any further contact after this please do not be discouraged. It just means that a suitable application was received before yours. We encourage you to contact Jan: jan.hutton@optusnet.com.au every 2-3 weeks to show you are still interested in adopting. As we will already have your form on file it will fast track the process when a suitable dog does become available.
Adopt one of our dogs and we are there for you for the rest of the dog's life. If you find you and the dog are not suited it is a condition of sale that the dog comes back to Stafford Rescue.
