About Happy
Let us introduce you to our special girl "Happy"She is a small to medium sized dog being a Kelpie Cross and is very friendly. She loves playing with all other dog breeds and is also fine with cats. She can be a little bit shy at first with but when she gets to know you better she will place herself on a blanket on the couch awaiting a belly rub. She has an amazing nature and would suit a family that can give her all the love she needs. She is a very calm Kelpie Mix and doesn't require endless walks and ball throwing to keep her happy. She just loves a little exercise and loves to chase after a toy in the backyard. She even drops the ball at your feet. She knows most commands and is very well trained and has lovely manners. Her favourite thing to do is to go for a drive to the shops and have a lovely cuddle with someone on the couch or on your back decking in the sunshine.. She's been living in the shelter for over 4 months which is a very long time for a dog in these stressful conditions. Happy doesn't cope with shelter life she is very sensitive to other dogs jumping in the pens next to her. This makes her jump up too and run back and forth which is not what we wish for her. She loves going for walks playing with other dogs and having a well deserved rest. Her personality is totally different to what you see when she is in her kennel at the shelter. She is calm and relaxed and appreciates just the small things like a bed to sleep in endless cuddles and great food. Happy is the ideal companion for any family or single person. She is house trained and hardly ever barks.
