About Bindi
*bindi is going to trial her new home*bindi is a princess disguised in a shaggy dogs body. Initially shy and aloof with strangers, patience with her is rewarded with one of the most loyal, gentle and fun loving personalities you could find. Bindi needs a home that understands she will take quite some time to truly bond and learn to trust someone new, and over this period she can become stressed and a little panicky. For this reason secure fencing is a must for princess bindi. She is quite a stubborn girl and needs consistent positive reinforcement, preferably from an experienced dog owner who would also understand her need for company. When settled and secure, bindi's biggest loves are snuggling on the sofa, usually on someones feet, and playing in the mud and dirt with some company, either human or canine. Bindi likes other dogs so long as they respect her, a submissive dog smaller than herself would be fine as a companion. Bindi currently lives with cats who she will chase if allowed, but when the cats stand up for themselves she backs off very quickly. We think it's her quirky sense of humour that drives her to just 'try' the cats out every now and then. She is also used to children and while we advocate and have provided full supervision, she has proved to be steady and reliable around them. Bindi also enjoys playing at the beach, riding in the car and other simple pleasures such as attending sporting events with her foster family. Really, so long as she has company she is happy. Her exercise needs are low - medium and she does need her rough coat brushed out every few days which she finds quite enjoyable. Bindi is just 18 months old.
