Melody

Let us introduce you to our sweet girl Melody she is an unwanted pet who was surrendered to us by a family who couldn't afford vet care to help her with her ongoing skin issues. All she needed was a health check at the vets and some antibiotics to help clear up a skin infection. She doesn't have a skin allergy as such she was just not cared for properly and didn't get the right nutrition. She is a beautiful cat who is quite small and one may think she is a lot younger than 3 years of age. She's not used to being in the spotlight so she can be a little shy when she first meets new people. But if you sit quietly and talk to her gently she will come out and rub up to your legs. She loves a good stroke under the chin and loves to get patted on her head. She would be okay to live in a household with another cat. She would like a nice quiet home with wonderful understanding people who will make her feel part of the family. You may not see her at first as she's very quiet compared to some of the boisterous cats here at the shelter. She has been in shelter care for quite some time now and we are searching for her forever home.
