About Sadie
Hi, my name is Sadie and I would love to be your new shadow!
Your loving attention is what I crave most, so be prepared for headbutts and cuddles. :)
I'm a cheeky 'torbie' and white girl with a gorgeous personality. Some people say that I have a fringe, or that I stuck my head in some flour... they're just jealous of my pretty markings!
I can be very talkative and have a unique chirpy meow which my foster mum finds very amusing. If you're after a boring quiet cat, I'm certainly not it.
I'm currently sharing my foster mum with her two female cats and they're good fun to hang out with, I think I would like a cat companion in my forever home please. I'd be fine as an only cat too, that would just mean you'd need to spend even more time with me as I'm not too fond of being alone.
MY IDEAL HOME: I require a home where I will get lots of loving attention, and where I can follow you around and keep you company as you go about your day. Of course I understand that you may need to go to work sometimes, but when you come home I would love to spend dedicated time with you.
You must love headbutts and cat chitter-chatter if you want me to be part of your family, it's what I love doing most!
Other than your love, the only other things I require are a warm bed, a good diet (I'm a little bit of a piggy and cry for food, please don't give in to my cries or I may become a chubster!), somewhere to scratch and a few exciting toys.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Like all cats, I enjoy my naps, but when my family is around I'll postpone those naps! I love exploring and will regularly update you as to my whereabouts with a chirpy meow before running back to your side. I have a very playful side that comes and goes in short bursts, and I love a good feathery toy.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any kids whilst in foster care, but I feel that I could get along well with children and teenagers who understand how to behave around cats.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I am very respectful of other cats and get along well with my two foster sisters. I would love to have a cat companion in my forever home, as long as they're willing to have me!
Here's me and my foster sis Ava having a romp: http://youtu.be/mjJWAl7klw0
I'm pretty tolerant of gentle, cat-friendly dogs... but I'll probably be a bit excited upfront, so it's best if initial get-togethers with your resident pooch are supervised.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
