About Ashi
Ashi is a gentle giant in the making! He loves to be everywhere you are and is deliriously happy to be the centre of your attention. He is a sweet, vocal, gentle boy with a natural tendency towards lounge lizarding.
Ashi can be a bit clumsy, his big paws often trip him up but it doesn't faze him - he often acts like it's on purpose! His beautiful, soft black and white coat invites you to give him the pats he adores, and looking into his eyes is to see how much he loves you.
MY IDEAL HOME: I am dreaming of a family, with or without kids 5 years and up or other resident dogs or cats, who'll shower me with attention and let me stay inside as often as possible. I LOVE cuddles!
I will need to continue my training cause my foster mum says good manners in a puppy are essential, especially since I'm going to grow so big! Foster Mum says I am smart but willful, so my training is progressing fairly slowly - someone with heaps of patience and time would be perfect.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm bit of a snuggle bug - I love being cuddled up next to (or on) my family members, but I do like play times also throughout the day. I happily play fetch and tug 'o war with my foster family and also play with their dog, and (gently!) with their cats.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Kids are AWESOME! I get a little excited when I meet new kids and sometimes bump them with my big body, but I'm learning to be calm with the small ones.
I met a young tyke recently who my foster mum said is five, and I loved getting pats and hugs from her and she loved me! A family with kids around this age and up would be amazing.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I love my foster family's four cats (one is very shy and I only get to see her occasionally) and spend a lot of time playing and sleeping with my feline friend, Rojo. I also have a foster brother dog named Dyson who I love to follow and chase. I'm looking forward to spending more time with Dyson when I start going on walks soon!

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
