Murphy (Be D19394)

This is Murphy. He was brought to us a couple of months ago in quite a state. He's been restored to his beautiful self by one of our awesome Rangers, and is now ready to find a permanent home.

Here's a bit about him from his carer:

Murphy is a medium sized mixed breed. As you can see from the photos he was in a terrible condition when we picked him up. As Rangers, we received the call that he had been seen wandering near the beach. We believe his owners had dumped him and he had been living on his own in the bush for weeks just managing to survive.

Since he came into our care he has received veterinary treatment, antibiotics, weekly injections, medicated shampoo, (he was covered in scabs and sores and had secondary infections) and tons of love!

He gets on well with our 3 other dogs, he loves to play ball and is learning to walk well on the lead. He's calm in the car, and eats like a horse! He is a big puppy ready for fun, but also loves to snuggle on your lap, he knows the basic commands and learns very quickly with treats.

The thing we find most fascinating about him is the way he sighs, it's just like a human and I have never heard a dog do this before!
