About Lacie (D2757)
Small-Medium Mixed
Blondes have more fun
Lacie is a curious and fun-loving young girl - not a puppy, but not a fully grown dog. She was a bit timid after her change in circumstance, but has settled in well to her new foster home over the course of a week and has developed playful relationships with her two canine foster siblings. Lacie takes on a lower position in the dog hierarchy with good grace.
Lacie loves affection, cuddles, pats and play time with her foster carer. She is starting to learn some commands and boundaries, like when playtime is over and it's time for her to lie on her bed or play on her own. She can walk without pulling on the lead and has just had her first beach swim which she took to easily. Lacie needs an owner who can continue her training for a little longer until it all sinks in.
Lacie needs chew toys, bones, rawhide as well as general balls and toys to keep her occupied.
She is affectionate and trainable and her foster carer thinks she would be good with children. Lacie is not suited to being left alone all day or night, her early life was spent with other dogs and she feels more secure in a group. She would probably be fine as the only dog, as long as she has enough human interaction and playtime throughout the day.
Live far away? Lacie can fly! Qantas Air Freight sponsors SAFE very generously, so flying her is incredibly cheap, quick and very simple. We regularly fly animals around WA and interstate for adoption.
If you would like a family pet whose hobbies include watching the screen-saver on the DVD player and chasing her tail, Lacie's your girl.
