About Skye
Say hello to the beautiful Skye!
This beautiful girl ticks all the right boxes and we know someone very special will help this little lady find her home!
Skye is 4 years old, and currently in care with a 4 year old male and a 2 year old female, Making canine friends are not a problem for this girl! Skye loves all humans and takes special care with her 4year old human friend.
Like all huskies Skye loves her hour long walks, she has one everyday, and she could just walk or run for hours if you let her, so an active household would be ideal for this baby girl. She does tend to pull initially, but hey, who isn’t excited for walkies time!?
Skye loves to tell you what your garden should look like by digging, If bored she likes to see if the grass is really greener on the other side so a secure garden is a must! however Skye is house trained and spends most of her time inside at her foster home, Skye loves nothing more than to tell you when she needs to go to the toilet buy wooing and pacing at the door. She will also tell you when she thinks its dinner time, bed time or when you get home by a lovely woo song!
This girl is looking for her forever home, ideally it would be in a household with children she could play with, and we know she’d just love a canine companion, however if you’ve got the time space, heart and energy, she’d fit right in.
NO cats or pocket pets please!
PLEASE READ
A Siberian Husky is not the breed for everyone and before deciding to welcome one into your family, there are a few points to be made aware of. Being an energetic breed, they do tend to leave a trail of destruction behind them if not kept amused.
When not in an enclosed area, the Siberian should never be let off the lead. This breed loves to run and once off the lead, they're off!
They require a secure backyard to keep them from escaping .... If you cannot provide a secure backyard then a Siberian Husky is not for you.
Siberian Huskies are an independent breed and they'll do something if its in their best interest, not just because you ask them to.
Please do your research on this breeds unique requirements before applying to adopt to ensure you are up to the challenge of owning a Siberian Husky.
Skye will require at least 6ft fencing with secure fence lines to keep her safe. As with all Siberian Huskies they are extremely good escape artists and require a safe secure backyard..
