About Ghost
Introducing Ghost!
Ghost is a stunning affectionate boy, Ghost is in foster care with 2 older huskies and gets along fine with meeting new dogs. Ghost is looking for a home with another dog for a companion for him as he loves the company of other dogs and prefers to not be alone.
Ghost is very playful he is the jumper, the runner, the ball catcher, the chaser, the stick chewer you name the proactive action and that's him! Ghost does have a cheeky side and loves to try and steal other dogs toys and pretend he always had it.
Ghost loves all kinds of affection and gets along with all humans from little to large. Ghost walks well on lead but like all puppies likes to explore new smells and will slightly pull. With re-enforcement he stops, but he is inquisitive on his walks, smelling and looking at everything. He does get tired sometimes and when he does, he will automatically sit for a rest.
He is very good inside the house and has learnt his boundaries in his foster home and respects this very well.
Of a daytime while his carers are at work he has his own kennel outside which he knows is his. He is house trained and sleeps inside at night without any issue.
So far ghost has learned to Sit, Shake, Stay, Beep Beep (Which he responds to move out the way)
In real husky form he does love to dig holes in the garden ... a bit of a landscaper.
If you think you can give Ghost the home he deserves please fill out an application form below.
PLEASE READ
A Siberian Husky is not the breed for everyone and before deciding to welcome one into your family, there are a few points to be made aware of. Being an energetic breed, they do tend to leave a trail of destruction behind them if not kept amused.
When not in an enclosed area, the Siberian should never be let off the lead. This breed loves to run and once off the lead, they're off!
They require a secure backyard to keep them from escaping .... If you cannot provide a secure backyard then a Siberian Husky is not for you.
Siberian Huskies are an independent breed and they'll do something if its in their best interest, not just because you ask them to.
Please do your research on this breeds unique requirements before applying to adopt to ensure you are up to the challenge of owning a Siberian Husky.
Ghost will require at least 6ft fencing with secure fence lines to keep her safe. As with all Siberian Huskies they are extremely good escape artists and require a safe secure backyard..
