About Justice, (On Trial 30/8/14)German Shepherd x Akita
Justice is a male, 9 week old, German Shepherd x Akita mix puppy looking for a family to call his own. He is a happy, affectionate and curious puppy who enjoys playing with toys and exploring the garden. He is very well socialised with other dogs as he is living happily with many dogs of all ages and sizes. He hasn't met a cat yet but should be fine as he is young enough to get used to them. He's a very handsome, unusual looking puppy. He has a cute wrinkly forehead, red and black sable colouring and a white tipped tail and toes. You can already see that he is intelligent and focused.
Justice is used to being allowed inside when people are home so he can enjoy feeling part of the family. He should sleep inside, at least until he is fully grown. He likes to nap outside in a kennel during the day.
Justice will be a medium to large sized dog so his new home will need 6ft colourbond fencing or good paling fences of similar height (not rural fencing such as mesh or wire). Padlocks are necessary to prevent dog theft. It'd be great if there was someone that doesn't work full time, such as a stay at home mum, or someone who works from home or is retired.
Justice would love to have another similarly sized dog for company and to teach him new things. He's not be suitable for children under 5 years of age as he might accidently knock them over.
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. Justice is available for adoption to the following areas: Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens. He is not available for Interstate adoption.
For more info or to meet Justice please ring his foster carer, Robyn, on 02 4953 7115 (preferred) or mobile 0407 074 143. Justice is in Glendale, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle). Robyn doesn't have internet access so phone is the only way to reach her. Thank you.
Justice's adoption fee is only $450 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
