About Sophie-Emmaline
Sophie-Emmaline or Sophie as her carer calls her is an absolute treasure. She is such a no fuss, friendly and sociable little girl.
This sweet soul was abandoned at a house when her family left her. The remaining tenants ignored Sophie and then surrendered her to the pound.
Sophie loves her walks and runs to the front door in anticipation when shoes are put on. She enjoys a 30 minute walk each day and leads all the way, given she only weighs 3.5 kgs this is not a problem as she doesn’t pull just loves to get going. She is learning to wait as she crosses the road.
Sophie has some very cute and endearing traits such as doing a little dance and circles when dinner is ready. Rolling on her back for a tummy rub and begging on her back legs when a treat is offered. She is learning to sit and to wait for her food and she is so quick to learn new things. It won’t be long before she will learn drop and many other commands.
Sophie loves other small dogs and likes to play– large ones do seem to intimidate a little- not surprising really as she is such a tiny girl. She is friendly with cats and loves people big and small. She is such a pleasure to have around and fits in really well, very quickly.
Sophie loves cuddles and resting next to you on the couch but will go to her bed when asked if you are eating. Sophie required a good groom and some teeth removed but has taken it all in her stride.
Sophie would suit most family situations but perhaps not very small children given her size. She may also like a doggy companion to increase her confidence but manages being on her own when required.
Anyone would be very lucky to have such a beautifully natured girl join their family.
