About Gemma (On Trial 21/9/14)
Gemma is a female mini foxie who is approx. 12 months old. She has a lovely personality and is very easy to get on with. She is good with other dogs and enjoys playing with them very much. She also enjoys playing with her toys.
Gemma shows no signs of aggression and would be good around children. She is a small dog and requires virtually no grooming due to her breed.
Gemma is a inside dog and is most comfortable having others around her. She is energetic and would not be suited to being left outside alone. She likes being part of the family and enjoys sleeping on the bed.
If you think you can provide Gemma with a loving and secure home for the rest of her life please contact Lucyann at blackorchid7@hotmail.com.au. Gemma is in foster care in Dora Creek, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Gemma's adoption fee is only $400 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
