About Copper (rehomed by owner)
Copper is a male Staffy x kelpie, approximately 8-10 years young. Copper is lovely boy who is good with other doggies, cats and kids. He is not a barker and sleeps inside of a night and likes to lay outside in the sun of a day time. \ Copper is very loyal and will follow you and adore you and always be at your side.
Copper gets his name from his lovely colouring. His head shape suggests Staffy and his body shape and longer coat suggests kelpie. He has a quiet nature. Like many dogs, he is afraid of rain and storms so he will need someone who will be very understanding and let him inside and calmly reassure him. Copper belonged to an older lady who passed away and so Copper is looking for a new home.
If you are interested in fostering or adopting Copper please contact Renay by phone 0412 708 999 or email - renayeiserief@optusnet.com.au. Copper is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW.
Copper's adoption fee is only $100 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
