About Mollie *On Trial in Her New Home*
*MOLLIE IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME* ‘Good Golly Miss Mollie’ you’re a gorgeous little dog! If you want a loving companion who’s a delightful cross between active and snuggly then Mollie’s the gal for you!
Lil Miss Mollie is a sweet, dainty girl who can be a bit timid when meeting new people though soon warms up once she knows you’ll do her no harm. She enjoys being outside playing with Xena her foster carers 20 month old German Shepherd, or just catching some winter sun or running around chasing the sparrows; she’s quite a busy little dog. Mollie loves to get under the house to chew her bones; possibly so she doesn’t have to them share with Xena! She looks at the chickens in their chook pen but shows no aggression or desire to get to them. When inside she plays with the households’ 2 year old rescue cat and puts up with him licking her – their cat is an oddball! Mollie rarely barks only to let you know if someone comes near their home making her a good little watchdog.
While in care clever Mollie has learnt to sit for treats; her faves being liver ones and Schmackos and she loves to chew on pigs ears. She hasn’t spent much time on a lead since coming into foster care though we’re sure she’ll quickly get the hang of it. \ Mollie enjoys pats and cuddles and will wiggle her way onto your lap and stay there for as long as you’ll have her. She likes to be close and will follow you around as you go about your daily business.
Weighing in at a wee 4kgs Mollie is a terrific ‘take-anywhere’ size. We’ve gone with Terrier cross in her microchip as we’re not sure what breeds make up this pretty little miss though our vets think she may have some Papillon in her. She is fairly low maintenance only needing a short, brisk walk or run around the backyard to use up her energy and she does lose some hair but not a lot; the occasional brush and bath will keep this pretty girl looking her best!

Gorgeous Mollie is housetrained only having a couple of ‘accidents’ when she first came into foster care and was learning the households’ routine. She would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with another friendly dog for company if her humans will be away at work during the day. A family with older children would be ok so long as they’re old enough to understand to be gentle - as she is quite timid she would find boisterous kids intimidating.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
