About Max the Moodle (On Trial 22/8/14)
Hi, I'm Max the Maltese x Miniature Poodle ("moodle"). I am 4 years old and I have big beautiful brown eyes that look straight to your heart. I weigh 6.3 kgs, so I'm a small boy. I love cuddles and am definitely an inside dog. I like to be outside in the yard also, but if you are home I really want to be near you. I have a non-shedding coat which keeps your house clean. I need regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep me comfortable and beautiful.
I am living with two teenage boys and love them a lot. I have been around younger children too and think they are awesome!
There are 5 other dogs in my foster home, boys and girls, and I love them all. We go to the dog park and I’m a bit excitable on my lead but only because this is all new to me. I have not been walked before but I’m already not pulling as much and it won’t take me long to be perfect.
I sleep on my cushion and blanket in my foster mum's room and do not even try and jump on her bed or even on the lounge! I’m just happy to be in the same room in my own bed, and I sleep all night like a baby.
So if you are looking for a lovable little friend that is good with other dogs, people of all ages, to be inside with you and share in your activites then please contact my foster mum Carolyn on 0404 874 136 or email Carolyn@tradeserv.com.au. I am living in Valentine, NSW in Lake Macquarie.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
