Max is on hold pending adoption,

Meet Max this handsome boy is very social and loving and is currently in care in Windsor in Sydney. Max is a pure bred German Shepherd who has been taken into care after being left at a Sydney Animal Shelter by his former owners.

It would seem that their busy lifestyle did not allow time for the family dog and from all appearances Max has been left as a yard dog and yet he is very loving and social with his fellow rescue dogs. Due to his size I would not recommend he go to a home with small children under eight years of age although he been introduced to children and is excellent with them.

Max has also been tested with small, medium and large dogs and is social with all of them. Extremely loving and attentive this beautiful male Shepherd deserves a loving home.

Max has been desexed, vacinated C5, microchipped and is on heart worm prevention and has been flea treated. \ He will be professionally groomed before going to his forever home.

Max is a striking dog with his sable and black markings and will need a daily walk and inclusion with the family. Being a German Shepherd these dogs need stimulation and connect very strongly with their human pack. Leaving them as just yard dogs does them no good so we are looking for a home where Max will be an integral member of the family he is fully house trained, is not a barker and just needs the companionship of his human pack.

Max knows his basic commands and does not require excessive amounts of exercise a gentle walk morning and night would be just what he needs.

Max is currently living in a home with a senior couple who live on a farm and Max has not put a foot out of place if your love this breed and want an intelligent and loving male shepherd as your companion dog then please ring Linda.
