Volker

**volker will be going to his new home soon** volker is a treasure - he is always smiling!!! he's really affectionate, happy and easy going. He loves to give kisses and to snuggle up close if he gets a chance. Volker gets along fine with other dogs, though prefers to spend time with his people rather than other dogs. He is uninterested in the cats that come through our yard. Volker is a playful boy who can amuse himself for ages with his toys. He's been a mainly indoor dog, and has been sleeping at the end of the bed, but he seems just as happy outdoors. He runs and walks well on the lead, and has been good when we've gone to the dog park. He comes when called and sits on command. He's intelligent and capable of learning more - very clever and attentive. He's quiet too and doesn't bark very often. Volker is good with children - even though when he was collected by the ranger he was being pelted with sticks and stones by a group of school children. Someone is going to be very lucky when they decide to give volker a forever family!!
